How To Use Avene Retrinal 0.05% Cream:
Each night, apply a small amount to face and neck area, or as directed by your physician. Be certain to use a daily sun protection of SPF 15 or higher while using this product. Retinaldehyde C.T. may stain fabric. If this occurs, clean the fabric as directed by fabric manufacturer.
Warnings: See enclosed package insert for full product precautions and information. Avoid contact with and around eyes and lips. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Do not use while pregnant, considering pregnancy or nursing.

Water (Aqua), Caprylic/Capric Trigylceride, Mineral Oil (Parffinum Liquidum), Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Squalane, Propylene Glycol, Glycol Montanate, PEG-40, Hdyrogenated Castor Oil, BHT, Butylparaben, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Red 33 (CI 17200), Retinal, Triethanolamine.

This is an excellent retinol for dry, very dry or mature skin. In winter when stronger less emollient formulas become too harsh, this is a wonderful alternative without discontinuing treatment. It contains Retinaldyhyde, the immediate precursor to Retin A so you aren't sacrificing treatment here with a gentler product. I love it. I started out with 0.05 every day and I am now incorporating 0.10.
